Start Simple, Think Big

Sharing from Experience

If you’re reading this on my blog, chances are you already know or you’re about to learn that I’m a digital entrepreneur—founder and CEO of ClickDo and Seekahost. I mention this to give you a sense of my background and personal experience. Because here’s the truth: if you want to succeed in what you’re passionate about, you need to share your knowledge and help others hit their goals too.

Everything I share is based on my own journey. I’ve been through the ups and downs, and I know what works—principles that deliver results. If someone had shared this with me back in 2013 when I decided I wanted to do something different, maybe I would’ve reached my success a little easier. But on the other hand, I’m grateful for every challenge and moment of triumph along the way. That’s what fuels me now—I can help others starting from zero, sharing what I’ve learned and the hurdles I’ve overcome.

There are a few true golden rules that anyone daring enough to chase their dreams should follow. At the very least, knowing these will prepare you for what’s ahead. When you understand them, you’ll react faster, stay more focused, and push forward with confidence.

Always Have Your Rules

Should You Follow Any Rules or Principles When Starting Something New?

Absolutely. It’s always better to have certain rules or principles to guide you. Whether you’re launching a new business or working on personal goals, rules act as your anchor. They pull you back onto track if you’ve veered off for any reason. And let’s be honest—those moments happen more often than you think. The road to success isn’t always smooth.

Here’s a simple example: you want to do 10 muscle-ups, but you’ve never tried even one. Naturally, it’ll take time, practice, effort, and sometimes uncomfortable work. But here’s the thing—distress turns into pride. When you finally hit 11 muscle-ups, that sense of achievement hits you hard. You realize your efforts weren’t in vain, and suddenly, you set even higher goals for yourself.

The same rules apply when you start a new business or a new idea. You invest a lot, face obstacles, and it gets tough. Without a plan or clear principles, you can easily lose your way, giving up before you even give yourself a real chance.

That’s why I believe having a solid plan and rules is absolutely crucial. And I’m more than happy to share the ones I’ve developed from my own journey toward success.

5 Golden Rules to Achieve Success

Rule Number 1 – Follow Your Passion with Dedication

Everyone has a passion. There’s something that ignites your fire, something you love doing more than anything else. Your passion might be different from what you’re currently doing, and that’s okay. The most important first step is to have the courage to follow what truly excites you. Ideas, dreams—everything is possible. When you persist, you can reach a point where you actually make a living doing what you love.

And here’s the real truth: imagine waking up every day doing something that doesn’t bring you satisfaction. How could you get better at it? You can’t. If it doesn’t bring you joy or fulfillment, you’ll lack the motivation to grow. Instead, you’ll stay stuck, spinning your wheels, which benefits no one—including you.

Whatever your passion may be, if you have the courage to pursue it and believe deep down that it’s meant for you, success will find its way to you. So, hold onto what makes you feel alive and capable. It will push you to learn more, to go further. You’ll start seeing things fall into place.

The key here is focus. Don’t be chaotic about it. Today, almost anything can turn into a business.
Don’t overthink it—trust your skills, your desire, and the passion that drives you. Keep moving forward, step by step, and success will follow.

My Passion Gave Me My Freedom

Rule Number 2 – Start Small, Think Big

As I mentioned earlier, overthinking can hold you back. Start with small steps, but keep the big picture in mind. Don’t get discouraged just because you’re not fully prepared at the beginning. If you have a clear vision, strong desire, and stay consistent with your efforts, success will come.

The moment you start focusing on every possible obstacle and worry about what might go wrong, you risk killing your idea before it even begins. Alternatively, you might miss your chance altogether. I’m not saying you shouldn’t be prepared—preparation is essential. But don’t wait for the perfect moment or for everything to be in place.

Begin with the small things. Keep your eye on the big idea.

For example, I started learning how to optimize content online from every possible source. Once I gained some knowledge, I knew I had to take the next step—find clients who needed my services. I didn’t have an office. I had a tiny room at a friend’s place. I didn’t even have a fancy camera or microphone. But none of that stopped me from making videos and sharing my journey—talking about how I was growing my own blog.

Yes, I started with just a blog. That blog eventually became pretty big and popular.

Throughout it all, I kept the big picture in my mind. I knew that sooner or later, I’d land clients who trusted me to build their digital strategies. And guess what? It happened.

But I began with very little—one small room, a laptop, a fierce desire to succeed, and countless hours of hard work.

Start Simple, Think Big

Rule Number 3 – Keep Learning and Adapting

No matter what happens on your journey to turn your idea into reality, never stop learning. Every moment, new trends and innovations emerge around us. If you pay attention and choose what’s relevant to you, these will become your biggest assets. Never believe that you’ve learned everything. I myself learn every single day—because I love my life and see endless opportunities for growth.

But here’s the key: focus only on what benefits you. You don’t need to know everything—that’s impossible. What matters most is that you continuously develop within your field. Keep an eye on new trends, innovations, and the successful people who are doing the same thing as you.

Never think that everything has already been figured out. Each of us is unique, adding our own character to what we do. And that individuality can’t be duplicated. Bring your unique energy into your work, and you’ll get back exactly what you’ve put in. Dream boldly—this ties back to rule number 2.

Of course, you’ll face obstacles. Things might not unfold exactly as you planned. But you have to adapt. Expecting the world to move at your pace is unrealistic—you need to follow the rhythm of the world’s development.

Remember: setbacks don’t mean failure. They are simply lessons on the way to success. That’s why adapting quickly and flexibly is crucial. Keep evolving, keep growing, and keep moving forward.

Rule Number 4 – Build Your Personal Brand

Once you’ve committed to learning and adapting, it’s time to focus on crafting your personal brand. Your personal brand isn’t just about how others perceive you; it’s about genuinely showcasing who you are and what you bring to the table. In today’s digital age, your online presence plays a vital role in this. It’s your chance to tell your story, highlight your strengths, and connect with others.

Start by defining what you stand for. What are your core values, and how do they align with your goals? Being clear about this will guide all your branding efforts—whether it’s the content you create, the messages you share, or the way you interact with your audience.

Creating a personal brand is an ongoing process. As you grow, your brand will evolve with you. Stay authentic and true to yourself, and remember, people connect with people. Show them not just what you do, but why you do it. Let your passion and dedication be the driving force that attracts opportunities and like-minded individuals to your circle.

Engage with your community, both online and offline. Network with others in your field, share your knowledge, and be open to learning from others. By doing so, you’ll not only solidify your brand but also enhance it with new insights and inspirations.

Remember, your brand is your legacy. It’s what you’re known for long after the dust has settled. Build it with care, nurture it, and watch as it opens doors you never even dreamed possible.

Take Care Of Your Own Brand

Rule Number 5 – Stay Persistent Despite Challenges

Every journey to success is packed with obstacles. Things won’t always go according to plan, and you’ll face setbacks along the way. But here’s the secret—don’t give up. Persistence is what separates those who succeed from those who quit. Keep pushing forward, even when it feels hard or unfair.

Consistency is key. Ensure every piece of content, every interaction, and every message you put out there reflects your brand’s essence. This doesn’t mean you have to be rigid—on the contrary, let your unique personality shine through in everything you do.

Every challenge is a lesson disguised as an obstacle. Adapt, learn, and keep your eyes on the目标. Remember, the biggest breakthroughs often come right after the toughest moments. Stay resilient, stay committed, and never let temporary failures define your path.

The road to success is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep moving forward, no matter what. Your persistence will pay off in the end.

Life Is A Blessing

Living Your Life Like It’s Golden

This is a really great song by Jill Scott which actually can be turned in a great mantra for success.
I truly believe that anyone who is willing to work hard and chase their dreams can achieve amazing success. I’ve been there myself, and I know what it takes. That’s why I’m always open to sharing my knowledge and experiences with those who are ready to put in the effort.

Success doesn’t come to those who wait; it comes to those who take action, stay persistent, and never give up. If you’re serious about your goals, keep moving forward. Every single step brings you closer to turning your dreams into reality.

Remember, I’m here to tell you that if you dare to believe in yourself and work tirelessly for what you want, the possibilities are endless.
The real magic happens when you combine passion, perseverance, and a hunger to keep learning.
Keep going—your success is waiting for you.
